Individual awards 65th Otten Cup
Annually, PSV's supporter's club gives out awards for the best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and attacker of the Otten Cup.
This year´s best goalkeeper is: Jordan Pickford of Sunderland AFC
Pickford has shown to be an excellent goalkeeper with good reflexes. In addition, he does not seem to feel uncomfortable moving out of the goal. He showed great technical skills when making a goalkick, getting his team right back into the game, and during moments like this Sunderland's play was not to be underestimated.
This year's best defender is: Stefano Denswil of AFC Ajax
Denswil showed skills of an excellent defender, strong in his play, who also knows how to move forward with the ball. In addition, Denswil showed to be a calm factor in the defense.
This year's best midfielder is: Marcel Ritzmaier of PSV
Ritzmaier has many technical skills that came to the surface in this tournament. He worked hard for his team and knows how to keep the game straightforward. His abilities with the ball were extraordinary.
This year's best attacker is: Ernesto Cornejo Sanchez of FC Barcelona
Sanchez showed speed in his game. He is an excellent attacker with great technical skills. Sanchez also knows how to oversee the whole game. Consequently, Sanchez scored three goals during the tournament.
Topscorer of the 65th edition of the Otten Cup is Jürgen Locadia of PSV with 6 goals to his name.
